Exploration Trip through Cultural History
In July 2021, GRAL was once again hired to support the implementation of the Munich Art District Festival, called Kunstareal-Fest. Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, the focus of the services was on the creation of a hygiene protocol for all events in public spaces. GRAL was also allowed to support the complex approval process and oversee the implementation of the program items on the promenade in the Gabelsberger Straße, which was closed on the weekend.
The 5th Kunstareal-Fest took place from July 16th to July 21st, 2021. All Munich residents and people visiting the city were invited to an inspiring journey of discovery through 5000 years of cultural history under the title “Blickpunkte” (=view points) – on site and digitally. Admission to all museums and participation in all program items was traditionally free of charge.
GRAL was responsible for the complex approval process, the closure of the Gabelsberger Straße including the implementation of the street festival, the hygiene protocol as well as the supervision of the events on the outside areas of the museums with regard to hygiene guidelines.
